Webi personally was in the exact situation last sem where i was vomiting few hours before my final cause of a takeout pizza i ate when pulling an all nighter. so i then just sent an email to my advisor and filled out a form i found online and they accepted my request to defer it. so i believe they don’t ask for proof on your first time. so you can legit try deferring now.

If you want to split them up I'd probably do CR and SBM in one sitting first (followed by case on its own) because there's some crossing over between them.
