WebJan 31, 2024 · (1) This Ordinance shall regulate the domestic and international transport of dangerous goods including the transport to and from Member States of the Euro-pean Union (intra-Community transport): 1. by road (road transport); 2. by rail (rail transport); and 3. on all navigable inland waters (inland waterway transport) WebHowever, goods specified in the Schedule of Cap. 456 and any other goods which safety is controlled by specific legislation are not subject to the regulation of Cap. 456. According to the Consumer Goods Safety Ordinance, general consumer goods supplied in Hong Kong shall meet the “general safety requirements”.
